An intelligent orchestration layer for LLMs

Devtor was created by Emmanuel Buraimoh, a software engineer focused on building practical AI infrastructure for development teams. The project grew out of a simple frustration: using powerful models without a layer that manages cost, context, and routing intelligently leaves too much value on the table.

Emmanuel builds tools that help teams move faster without sacrificing control — systems that are transparent about what they do, why they do it, and what they cost.

Most teams treat LLMs like a single API call: one model, one prompt, one bill. Devtor takes a different approach. It analyzes each task, selects the right model, trims context to what actually matters, surfaces token estimates before execution, and applies token budgets to keep spend predictable.

The result is a control plane that continuously improves from past interactions — hybrid super-agent architecture, granular plan mode, interactive think mode, skill builder, cross-user learning, and automatic repository rule generation for existing codebases.

Devtor provides both a terminal CLI and a localhost web IDE with embedded chat, so developers move seamlessly between conversational and command-driven workflows without leaving their environment.
